The short version
- We keep only what we need to run your account: your email, your name, and the pieces you save to your wishlist and bag.
- We never sell your information.
- If you use Continue with Google, we receive your name and email address, and nothing else from your Google account.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
This policy explains how Moxen (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website or create an account. By using the site you agree to what is described here.
What we collect

We do not store payment card details on this site. If we add checkout, payments will be handled by a payment provider and we will update this policy.
Signing in with Google
When you choose Continue with Google, Google tells us your name, your email address, and that the email is verified. We use this only to sign you in and to create or find your Moxen account. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access your contacts, files, calendar or any other Google data.
If you already have a Moxen account with the same email address, Google sign-in opens that same account.
How we use your information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To save your wishlist and bag and sync them between your devices.
- To send you the one-time codes you request.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and repeated failed sign-in attempts.
- To respond when you contact us.
If we send you news or offers by email, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the message.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use a small number of service providers who handle it only to run the site for us:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores account data. Its servers may be located outside India.
- Resend delivers the emails that contain your one-time codes.
- Google provides the Continue with Google sign-in, if you choose to use it.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Moxen and our customers.
Cookies and local storage
We use only what is needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is protected so that scripts on the page cannot read it.
- Local storage in your browser keeps your wishlist and bag on the device. Signing out clears it.
- Session storage remembers, for the current tab only, that you have already seen the opening animation and the sign-in window, so they do not repeat on every page.
You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in cookie will stop you from staying signed in.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. One-time codes expire after 10 minutes, and sign-in sessions after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your details, saved items and sign-in sessions.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords and one-time codes are stored only in hashed form, and sign-in attempts are rate limited. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent, and sign out at any time from the account icon at the top of the site. Where applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, gives you further rights, we will honour them. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Children
Moxen is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will let you know on the site.
